One of the most talked about topics these days seems to be about finding your passion. What do you want to do with your life and what are you passionate about. Well as my mentor Ellie Drake says, "look at what inspires you."
We all get inspiration from somewhere or someone. Where do you get yours? It may be working creatively with different mediums such as glass or clay. It may be working with children or helping to motivate others to be all they can be in life.
Whatever it is you must first label it and then act on it. Spend time around others who are inspired by the same things as you. Learn from each other. Get educated on your topic and spend time reading about others who have done great things in the area you are most interested in pursuing. Take time for personal and professional development whether it be reading, listening to cds or attending seminars and lectures on your subject of interest.
The benefits can be quite amazing and your journey takes on a life of its own. You start connecting with others you may never have connected with otherwise. You meet people that you can have long lasting and profound relationships with.
Till next time,
