Don't you just love it when you are totally into a great book? I have been reading an amazing book about Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. The title is, "Three Cups of Tea" written by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. It is an amazing true story of Greg Mortenson's humanitarian campaign to build schools for children and especially girls in the backyards of the Taliban. The photos of the Himilayan Mountains are awesome as well as the descriptions of what it was like to travel through this country and to meet and become life long friends with the families who live in the remote areas at the base of these giant mountains. It gives you a REAL testiment as to what happened prior to and after the September 11 tragedy. And how this man continued to bring humanitarian aid to those who needed help so desperately.
It really is a must read and has been on the New York Times Bestseller list.
